Web development for professionals

My name is Teunis van Wijngaarden, and I’m a web developer. I’ve been working on serious web projects for 20 years now, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I do this for communications agencies, knowledge institutions and organisations that want to take a professional approach.

I am interested in the combination of communication and technology. I completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, with a year dedicated to (scientific) communication. I have worked as a communications officer and as a Functional Application Manager.

I like to be involved from start to finish: from architecture or software selection to implementation and maintenance. I enjoy coding work the most, but of course I make use of existing solutions wherever possible.

In every project, I am part of a team with fellow developers, designers and other communication professionals. I contribute technical expertise and, where requested, provide feedback on others’ work or contribute ideas regarding communication and organisational objectives.
